My name is Chris, I build websites. I belong to the the Manila Web Design Meetup Group, a non profit group who's sole purpose is to report the newest web technologies and to network people with business in anything web. We are currently hosting a meetup on Wednesday, January 5th in Makati to jump start the year. So far we have 14 web developers/designers attending and growing. This could be your opportunity to find potential recruits, network with companies, make allies in the field or maybe establish a partnership, who knows.

In this meetup we will also be giving 2 talks about "Object Oriented jQuery" and "HTML5 Standards". Each talk is expected to last 10 minutes at most. After, we will be allowing companies to introduce themselves to the group. There will be free food and free drinks ( beer? ) and a small raffle prize for those who attend.

For more information about the meetup ( when and where ) please see the following link: http://www.meetup.com/webdesign-533/calendar/15778360/ . Don’t forget to bring business cards and company information ( if you are looking to recruit ).
